Verre Noir is such a gem. The shop has a beautiful, curated feel the moment you walk in, with unique pieces that feel both artistic and elevated. Every display is thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to discover something special you didn’t even know you were looking for. The energy of the space is creative, stylish, and effortlessly cool, and the customer experience feels warm and intentional. Definitely a must-visit if you love distinctive finds and boutiques with personality.

Terrible customer service from the male associate working today. We stopped in hoping to find a nice house plant and wanted to support a local business (despite knowing it'd be about twice as expensive as the big box stores). The guy working didn't acknowledge us at all while we browsed, then when we asked a question about an item on the top shelf, he rudely barked "those aren't for sale" and went back to whatever he was doing that was clearly more important. He never looked up or made eye contact. We left feeling VERY unwelcome. We try to support local businesses whenever possible, but left here with a bitter taste in our mouths.

This is by far my favorite shop in Northshore. They have an excellent selection of teas and Art if you are into dark feminine magic 🪄 ✨. The lady at the desk is always so nice and offers to help every time I go inside!!

Discovered Verre Noir when looking for an evening event and stumbled upon their night market. This place is incredible! The plants look so healthy and they aren't the plants you find in every plant store (and I'll definitely be back post holiday time to buy some... Since I need to add to my existing collection of 80+ 😂🌱). The night market meant it was crowded, but they did a great job of having little stay in a line until enough people filtered back out. Having said that, it was still packed so I'll go back when it's not a market evening, since I'm a slow browser. The art was stunning - one of a kind oddities. Lovely perfume selection. Bulk tea options - which I am excited to find! Tarot, some jewelry, all things insect-art. Very very cool place.

What a great space! If you are looking for a great plant for your house, a little oddity for the shelf, or maybe you just need to grab some lose leaf tea. This is the place to be. I am very impressed with the layout, and the vibe. There are some great things here so do not speed through the shop. Take your time, and look around. You will not be upset you did!
